14. Which gate is better for Safari in Sariska Tiger Reserve ?

The most popular gate of Sariska National Park is Sariska Main Gate or entry gate as the sighting of wild animals is maximum from this gate.

There are two gates for safari in Sariska Tiger Reserve- Sariska Main Gate and Tehla Gate, the minimum distance between the two gates is 21 km from inside the forest and 70 km from outside the forest.

Safari for Zone 1 and Zone 2 is conducted from Sariska Tiger Reserve Entry Gate or Main Gate, which is the first choice of tourists.

Tehla Gate is the second gate of Sariska Tiger Reserve, from which safaris are conducted in Zone 3 and Zone 4.

15. What is the best time to visit Sariska?

The best time to visit Sariska Tiger Reserve is between October and June when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are most likely, with the peak season generally considered to be from October to March; avoid the monsoon season from July to September as heavy rainfall makes wildlife viewing less ideal.

Sariska remains closed every Wednesday.
